He rose from the dead, went back up to heaven, and lives with the God the Father, where he intercedes for believers. He will come again to set up his kingdom that will last for eternity. | ||||
| After Jesus ascended to Heaven, He sent His Holy Spirit on the believers in Jerusalem. The Holy Spirit is our (believers) helper and comforter, empowering us to live a godly life. | ||||
| We believe that all people are, by nature, separated from God because of their sin. The only to the Father is through the Son, Jesus Christ. Salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all people everywhere by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. When a person repents of his/her sin and accepts Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord, trusting Him for salvation, they are born of the Spirit (born again) and sealed by the Holy Spirit; all his/her sins are forgiven. They becomes a child of God, destined to spend eternity with the Lord. | ||||
| We as believers are each given spiritual gifts for the edification of the body of Christ. Love is more important than any of these gifts. Without love, these gifts are useless. | ||||
