Play Activity: Show children a wrapped doll and tell them that after they took Jesus' body down off the cross, they wrapped it in cloths and placed it in the tomb. (Place wrapped doll inside box). Then they put a heavy stone over the front to make sure no one could get inside. Replace "stone" piece. Wjhile you are keeping children busy dressing dolls, have your assistant sneak doll out and take off the gauze when children aren't looking). Have children dress other dolls to be Mary, the other women, and the angel, Continue telling the story in simple language. "Three days later, the women went to the tomb. There was a big earthquake, and the stone was rolled away! (Place angel doll by tomb, and take "stone" away.) "Mary and her friends were scared when they saw the angel. The angel said, 'Jesus is not here! He is alive!' Mary and the other women were so happy! (Show children how to make dolls jump and dance). They went back to tell the others! (Have dolls "walk" away). Jesus meets them on the way and tells them to go tell the others that he is alive, and that they can all be together with him in Galilee!"
